I subbed for an art class a while back, and the students had to list facts and questions about the film. The artist in the film made odd little creatures he called "beasties" out of clay. He used a pottery wheel. Here are some of the best responses.
FACTS:
Needle and sponge are your BFFs.
He [the artist] thinks all clay is fun clay.
Temporary and ancient techniques can be used together.
This looks like it takes too long.
Clay animals count as pottery.
His hands were huge.
The mouths he made looked nifty.
The man only took 10 minutes to make 2 projects.
This guy is a professional and rocks.
Beastie: A pot smashed and turned into a monster.
His name is Robert M.
Sausage is a clay shape.
Lube your clay sponge on a stick.
QUESTIONS:
Did Robert Maxwell invent the animal pot?
Does the animal have to be real?
Do we have to make something like that?
Does this guy have a life?
Is this guy hungry?
What does he use these pots for because it doesn't seem like they would hold anything?
How do you keep the clay lubricated?
Does he make any happy animals?
How much of a career is this?
When was this video made?
Why do you pick boring movies?!?!
